When traveling, I usually try to pop into good independent bookstores and, if possible, to find my books on their shelves (I’m eight books into my career and still think it’s cool to see them in stores). This week, we’re in northern Michigan and I visited the excellent Horizon Books in downtown Traverse City and found Votes of Confidence 3rd Edition on shelf in the US political science section (right next to Franklin Foer’s new biography of President Biden). If you still need a copy, request that your local bookstore stock it. And if you’re a local bookstore, I’m always happy to sign copies either in person or by mail, and am still scheduling upcoming events for Votes as well as Animal Husbandry and Civic Minded.
